Each piece is individually handcrafted. Slight variations in weight, size, and texture are natural and reflect its artisanal origin.
For everyday care:
- Wash with mild soap and a soft sponge. The naturally non-stick Malaysian tin lining (kalai) makes cleaning brass and copper cookware easier and gentler than other metals.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool
To maintain the shine:
- Use our de-oxidising cleaning solution or a natural homemade scrub (atta + salt + lemon)
- Dry thoroughly after each wash to prevent watermarks
Note: The tin lining (kalai) is a traditional method that may fade with time. A re-kalai can restore its surface and continue its long life.
