The Lagaan Master Set

Its food-safe tin lining prevents direct contact between ingredients and brass, while the lid helps retain warmth and aroma. The brass roti tawa handles rotis, chapatis, parathas, and other flatbreads, and the four-piece brass ladle set supports stirring, lifting, straining, scooping, and serving.

Together, the three components cover the journey from slow cooking to the final flatbread and serving at the table.

• Use on a low to medium flame.
• Never heat the lagaan empty.
• Grease the tawa lightly before heating.
• Avoid acidic ingredients directly on the unlined tawa.
• Use wooden or silicone utensils on the lagaan’s tin lining.
• Re-tin the lagaan through kalai when the lining wears thin.
