A brass lagan is a multipurpose vessel used for cooking and storing. The beautiful craftsmanship also makes it perfect for serving dishes in large gatherings. This is quite appropriate for cooking vegetables and curries as the tin coating avoids any harm to the food. Anti-oxidants of food are preserved when cooked in brass. The design is such that leads to much practical usage as the rings on the side helps in managing the hot vessel. Also the lid comes in very handy when storing food.

    Lagan

The Lagan is too wide ! The lid is also not totally tightly covering the Lagan and also more heavy than the dish itself . It is also not deep enough.

    Cleaning Hacks

It can be difficult to see the ageing of metal but that is the sign of purity!
This product can be washed normally like other utensils. A day in an entire week can be kept for special cleaning incase needed. Pitambari powder, which is easily available in the market, can be applied to the products and rinsed off with water to give them a shiny look. Feel free to use household sour elements like a mixture of tamarind+salt or a mixture of wheat+vinegar/lime+salt, if pitambari is not available.
