Who doesn't remember the packed aroma of dadima's achaar with pooris in a small dibbi! Or the flavourful spiced rice? A brass tiffin box has been a carrier of taste, memories, knick knacks & so much more. The beautifully crafted 3 tier brass tiffin boxes are a must have for any person who wishes to store & share.

The product comes in 3 tiers of brass dibbis attached together.

  • Finish: Plain Golden ( Handcrafted in pure Brass) & tin coated so silver on the inside.
  • Weight in kg: 0.5 - 1
  • Note: Any variation in weight & size are the characteristic of handcrafted products.
  • 1. Are these air tight boxes? Best effort has been made to ensure these boxes to be air tight. Being handcrafted, sometimes, there may remain some lag in the fittings. However, storage can still be done in them.
  • 2. After How long will you need kalai? If properly maintained & kept away from direct heat, kalai may last for years. Cleaning then once in a month properly ensures this. Head to our kalaiwala page to gather more information on the topic.
  • 1. Brass & copper are perfect as containers as they help to keep those small insects away.
  • 2. Due to tin coating on the inside content remains fresher for longer.
  • 3. The stand that holds all 3 dibbis (boxes) together has been outsourced.

    Cleaning Hacks

It can be difficult to see the ageing of metal but that is the sign of purity!
This product can be washed normally like other utensils. A day in an entire week can be kept for special cleaning incase needed. Pitambari powder, which is easily available in the market, can be applied to the products and rinsed off with water to give them a shiny look. Feel free to use household sour elements like a mixture of tamarind+salt or a mixture of wheat+vinegar/lime+salt, if pitambari is not available.

    Disclaimer

Imperfections are the hallmark and beauty of handcrafted products. Minor black marks and scratches are part of the process of making brass, copper and kansa products. We do not accept returns for such minor marks and hope you embrace the beauty and accept them in their raw form.
