Pooja Thaali Set

• The P•TAL Pooja Thaali Set brings together the essentials of everyday prayer in one considered arrangement: a diya for the flame, two bowls for kumkum and haldi, a lota for ritual water, a curved tray for prasad, and a Kansa bell to mark the beginning of prayer. At the centre of it all is a handcrafted brass thaali, spacious enough to bring these elements together while still leaving room for flowers, rice, and other offerings.

• The Thaali itself carries the craft quietly. A fine-hammered border surrounds a polished centre, while engraved and embossed detailing gives the piece character without making the ritual space feel overly ornate. Designed for daily pooja yet special enough for festivals and ceremonies, it is a set made to become part of the ritual rather than something brought out only for occasion.

While Setting Up

• Arrange the ritual elements before lighting the diya.
• Place the thaali on a flat, stable, and heat-safe surface.
• Keep the diya away from curtains, fabrics, and other flammable materials.
• Do not leave a lit diya unattended.
• Hold the bell securely by its wooden handle while ringing.
• Allow the diya to cool before handling or cleaning.

For Everyday Cleaning

• Wash brass pieces with mild soap and a soft cloth or sponge.
• Avoid abrasive scrubbers and steel wool.
• Remove kumkum, haldi, oil or ghee residue after use.
• Dry every piece thoroughly before storing.
• Clean the wooden bell handle separately with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
